PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support for a fence, constituted of inexpensive members with a simple structure, and easy even in connection work. ! SOLUTION: A support 1 for a fence comprises a foundation pipe 2, a support pipe 3 and a fixture 4 for connecting both the pipes. The foundation pipe 2 is erected on an installation surface B. The support pipe 3 is externally-fitted at a lower part to an upper part of the foundation pipe 2, and is fixed to a desired height position by the fixture 4. The fixture 4 comprises clamp metal fittings 6 and 7, a fixing member 5 for fixing these and a hook bolt 8 for retaining a wire net panel P. The clamp metal fitting 6 holds the foundation pipe 2, and places and receives the lower end of the support pipe 3 on and to an upper surface.
