<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sludge treatment apparatus capable of heightening a gas conversion rate of organic sludge without inputting a large scale auxiliary facility or energy, and shortening a digestion residence time, and to provide a sludge treatment method.SOLUTION: A sludge treatment apparatus 1 includes; a substrate tank 2 in which a culture medium is stored; a biocatalyst culture tank 3 to which the culture medium is supplied from the substrate tank 2, for cultivating a biocatalyst; and a digestion tank 4 for subjecting organic sludge to an anaerobic digestion treatment so as to be converted into biogas.</p> |
