PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chipping device 1 that can easily achieve uniform chipping depth and can secure a high chipping precision as a result.SOLUTION: The chipping device 1 of this invention is comprised of: a chipping machine 20 having a plurality of bits 22 at the tip; an air cylinder 25 that moves the chipping machine 20 in a projection direction of the plurality of bits 22; a base 10 in which the air cylinder 25 and the chipping machine 20 are mounted; a gear member 35 that rotates between two plate-like members extending from the base 10; and a rail member 50 to which a rack member 55 meshing with the gear member 35 is fitted.
