<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a vehicular lock-releasing mechanism that can eliminate a bracket for supporting the lock-releasing mechanism while making a locking mechanism and the lock-releasing mechanism independent from each other. <P>SOLUTION: When an outer tube 53 is passed through a cylinder mounting hole 61, a flange part 51 abuts against an outer surface of an inclined part 47 and stops. An outer tube holding element 62 is mounted on the outer tube 53 from the center side of a vehicle body. A biasing element 63 such as a spring washer is fitted into a peripheral groove 52 and the outer tube holding element 62 is pressed against an inner surface of the inclined part 47 by the biasing element 63. The inclined part 47 is firmly held between the flange part 51 and the outer tube holding element 62. As a result, the lock-releasing mechanism 50 is fixed to a side upper cover 24. The lock-releasing mechanism is configured to be fixed to a vehicle body cover by holding the vehicle body cover between the outer tube holding element and the flange part.
