PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack constituted by connecting a plurality of single cells in series in which disconnection of voltage detection lines on both ends of the battery pack and short circuit of the single cells are detected in a distinguished manner.SOLUTION: A battery pack voltage detector comprises: a single cell voltage detection circuit CD which detects voltage of each single cell V; single cell voltage detection terminals T connected to both ends of each single cell; connectors CO which connect the single cell voltage detection terminals and the single cells; voltage detection terminals TH/TL which detect voltages of single cells on end parts; a battery pack voltage detection circuit MD which detects an electric potential difference of both voltage detection terminals; a single cell voltage sum calculation part which calculates the sum of voltage of each single cell; an end part battery voltage abnormality determination part which determines whether or not voltages of the single cells on end parts out of the voltages of single cells are zero; and an abnormality output part which, in the case where the end part battery voltage abnormality determination part determines that the voltages of the single cells on end parts are zero, outputs disconnection abnormality when the sum of voltages that the single cell voltage sum calculation part calculates does not match the potential difference that the battery pack voltage detection circuit detects, and outputs short circuit abnormality when they match.
