PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of adjusting, by image processing, the depth distance, the depth position and the depth feeling of a display image visually recognized with naked eyes, and to provide an image processing method.SOLUTION: An image processor 10 includes at least an image input unit 20 including an image adjustment unit 22 and an image contour adjustment unit 24, and further includes an image adjustment unit 26 in accordance with an embodiment. In the image processor 10, the image adjustment unit 22 and the image adjustment unit 26 adjust a depth distance (position) and a depth feeling by changing the depth distance (position) and adjusting at least one of the hue, the saturation and the brightness of a partial image where highlighting of the depth feeling is desirable, on the basis of an adjustment instruction to generate a display image. In the image processor 10, the image contour adjustment unit 24 gives a background part image and contours to the partial image where highlighting of the depth feeling is desirable. |
