According to an embodiment of the present invention, a variable compression ratio engine which varies a compression ratio comprises: a piston disposed to reciprocate in a cylinder by a combustion action; a crankshaft disposed rotatably at a preset distance from a piston; one end of a crank arm of which is connected to the crankshaft, and the other end of which is connected to the crankshaft; a connecting rod connected to the crank arm through a crank pin and connected to the piston through a piston pin while forming an oil chamber therein; an eccentric cam disposed between the crank pin and the connecting rod, and is eccentric with the crank pin; a variable piston disposed on the oil chamber to move, depending on a pressure of the oil supplied; and a link to connect the variable piston and the eccentric cam to rotate the eccentric cam depending on the movement of the variable piston. |
