摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase communication reliability while reducing signal interference and/or packet collision in multi-hop communication.SOLUTION: A master unit 20 and plural extension handsets 10 are disposed as nodes. The master unit 20 and the plural extension handsets 10 perform multi-hop communication thereamong. Each of the extension handsets 10 includes a hybrid extension handset 11 capable of performing two different kinds of communication system; i.e., wireless communication and power line carrier communication. The hybrid extension handset 11 selects a communication system for using in an upper communication channel at the master unit 20 side using the following method. The hybrid extension handset 11 notifies the minimum route cost in the upper communication channel when the wireless communication is selected to another adjacent node the number of hop of which in the power line carrier communication is 1. The hybrid extension handset 11 includes a selection processing section 1103 that compares a route cost notified from adjacent another node and a route cost in a minimum its own upper communication channel, and selects the communication system.
