发明名称 ELECTROMOTIVELY OPERATED HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE AND CONTROL METHOD
摘要
The invention relates to a household appliance (1) having at least one tool that can be moved in rotation and/or translation, and an electromotive drive (M). According to the invention, it is provided that the household appliance (1) has control means for temporarily operating the electromotive drive (M) at increased power compared with the permitted steady load. The invention also relates to a household appliance (1) having at least one tool that can be moved in rotation and/or translation, and an electromotive drive (M). According to the invention, it is provided that the household appliance (1) has means for detecting the loading state of the tool and also a control device which is suitable for altering the power of the electromotive drive (M) depending on the measured loading state. The invention further relates to a method for operating a household appliance having at least one electromotively operable tool, in which the loading state of the tool is detected and the power (P) of the electromotive drive (M) is increased as soon as the measured loading state reaches a predefined threshold value. An achievable advantage of the invention is the temporary provision of a particularly high power, which is sufficient to break hard or brittle items such as ice cubes, frozen vegetables or chocolate. Once the breaking has been achieved, the power requirement drops again considerably, and so the electromotive drive (M) can be operated again at or below the permitted steady load. An only temporary increase in the power output prevents the electromotive drive (M) from becoming damaged. The invention can be used particularly advantageously in household appliances (1) having rotating tools, for example in hand blenders, electric whisks (2) or bread slicing machines. A further achievable advantage of the invention is that, if the user mishandles the household appliance, he can come into contact only with a tool which is operated at low power (hibernate mode), and so the risk of injury is considerably reduced. Furthermore, the probability of the material being treated spraying out of the receptacle is reduced, should an already moving tool be introduced into the material being treated. Nevertheless, enough power is available (power mode) to process the material being treated once the tool has been introduced into the latter.
