<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving method of an electrophoresis apparatus that enables high-quality display.SOLUTION: An electrophoresis apparatus 150 includes a selection transistor 21, a first transistor 26N having a source connected to a first power line 551, a second transistor 26P having a source connected to a second power line 552, a pixel electrode 22 having a drain of the first transistor 26N and a drain of the second transistor 26P connected thereto, a common electrode 23, and an electrophoretic material 24. The first power line 551 and second power line 552 are supplied with a first low potential Land a first high potential H, respectively, and a common potential oscillates between a second high potential Hand a second low potential Lwithin a frame period. The second high potential His higher than the first high potential H, and the second low potential Lis lower than the first low potential L. Since first particles and second particles are efficiently separated from each other, an electrophoresis apparatus 150 having a high contrast ratio and showing high image quality can be achieved.</p> |
