The present invention relates to a method for detecting a fire flame using a stereo camera and fuzzy logic. The method for detecting the fire flame using the stereo camera and the fuzzy logic according to the present invention includes the steps of: detecting a fire flame candidate region from an image inputted from the stereo camera; generating a membership function with three spatial and temporal properties with regard to the detected fire flame candidate region; estimating a probability value using the generated membership function and detecting the final fire flame region; and generating and implementing a 3D modeling with regard to the final fire flame. According to the present invention, a fire alarm level is accurately determined in a monitoring area and a fire is prevented by quickly extinguishing the fire.
