In the present invention, disclosed are alkali aluminosilicate glass which is light, has excellent processability, and is appropriate for chemical strengthening treatment, and a preparing method thereof. The glass according to an embodiment of the present invention is alkali aluminosilicate glass which contains 63.5-75% of SiO_2; 10.5-20% of Al_2O_3; 10.5-20% of Na_2O; 0-10% of K_2O; 4-10% of MgO; 1-10% of SrO; and 0.5-10% of ZrO_2, to be expressed by weight% with respect to an oxide. |
