The torque which is required to open a plastic screw closure (14) which is screwed onto a bottle (10) is determined without contact by the rotation position of the screwed-on plastic screw closure (14) in relation to the bottle (10) being established. The rotation position is established by means of evaluating an image on the basis of a mark on the bottle (10) and a mark on the screw closure (14). Ventilation slots (30) which interrupt the turns of the screw thread (12) on the bottle neck can be used as the mark on the bottle (10), and a predetermined breaking point (32) on a securing ring (20) of the screw closure (14) can be used as the mark on the screw closure (14). |
