<p>The present invention relates to a terminal and a controlling method thereof, and more specifically, to the terminal for controlling a multi window environment and the method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for controlling the terminal comprises the steps of: determining whether a security locking is set to limit the operation of the terminal, when booting the terminal; receiving a security unlocking code set in the terminal, when the security lock is set; and completing the booting of the terminal, based on the matching result with the input code, wherein it is determined whether a subscriber identification card inserted into the terminal exists or not when the security lock is not set, the terminal is operated identically to the security lock setting state when the subscriber identification card does not exist, and the code input is performed by at least one local key input included in the terminal.</p> |
