<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire which reduces surface strain produced in proximity to a rim contact point on the tire side. <P>SOLUTION: In a pneumatic radial tire comprising a pair of bead parts 1, a carcass 2 made up of at least one sheet of ply and a bead filler 3, an inner surface 6 of a tire side in a state of being assembled in a standard rim and filled with the standard internal pressure is formed of an inner surface having at least two types of curvature radiuses comprising an inside wall surface 6a in a tire radial direction formed by a first curvature radius R<SB>1</SB>projecting toward the inside in the tire width direction and an outside wall surface 6b in a tire radial direction connected to the inside wall surface 6a in a tire radial direction through the medium of an inflection point P and formed by a second curvature radius R<SB>2</SB>projecting toward the outside in the tire width direction. The inflection point P is situated between the rim contact point e of the standard rim and the upper end 3a of the bead filler 3 with respect to the tire radial direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
