Disclosed is a terminal device enabling a user to share various application screens as well as the contents of a chat with the other chatting party. According to the present invention, the terminal device includes: a communications part to perform communications with a terminal device of the other chatting party through a server; a display part to display at least one application screen on a chatting screen for providing a chatting service, wherein the application screen is to be shared with the terminal device of the other chatting party; and a control part to enable the communications part to share a function with the terminal device of the other chatting party, wherein the function is executed by a user operation performed on the application screen.
