<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate, with even higher accuracy, the full-charge capacity of a battery when the battery is charged to full charge.SOLUTION: There is provided a power device in which a full-charge capacity Sfull of a battery is calculated using a pre-start open voltage OCV1 before the start of execution and a post-termination open voltage OCV2 after the termination of execution of full-charge control for controlling a charger so that the battery is fully charged and a current integrated value Isum of a battery 36 during execution of full-charge control. When battery temperature adjustment is performed before the start of execution of full-charge control (S120), the charger is controlled so that a battery charge rate SOC is within a range from a threshold Sref1 to a threshold Sref2 (a charge rate range in which a change in the charge rate SOC relative to a change in the open voltage OCV is large) (S140). Then, the charger and a temperature adjuster are stopped when the battery temperature adjustment is terminated (S150), and the pre-start open voltage OCV1 is detected thereafter (S170).</p> |
