PURPOSE:To aviod insulation breakdown at the edge of metal sheet by providing An L-shape insulation barrier at the edge of a cooling duct. CONSTITUTION:A lower end of a vertical part 20a of an L-shape insulation barrier 20 is connected to an edge 14 of each cooling duct 6 which is housed in a winding. The thickness of the vertical portion 20a of the L-shaped insulation barrier 20 is determined in accordance with the thickness of the cooling duct 6 so that metal sheet or insulation sheet adjacent to the cooling duct is not deformed. On the other hand, a horizontal portion 20b of each L-shaped insulation barrier 20 is extended to the outside of the winding and the holizontal portion 20b of the inner L-shaped insulation barrier 20 overlaps above the holizontal portion 20b of the outer L-shape insulation barrier 20 with a certain interval. With thisconstitution, the edge 14 is surrounded by the insulation sheet 3 and the L-shape insulation barrier 20 on both sides and insulation characteristics of the edge 14 is reinforced so that an excellent dielectric strength can be obtained. |
