PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup device fitting method, an image pickup device fitting jig, and a position adjustment component capable of further improving accuracy for fitting an image pickup device.SOLUTION: A fitting method includes the steps of: fitting an image sensor to a mounting substrate 2; attaching the mounting substrate 2 to a positioning jig; fixedly attaching a positioning component 7 to the mounting substrate 2; and fitting the mounting substrate 2 to a camera housing 1. The positioning jig includes: a wall for identifying a position of the image sensor; and a positioning pin for identifying a relative position to the position of the image sensor. The step of fixedly attaching the positioning component 7 is a step of fixedly attaching the positioning component 7 to the mounting substrate 2 at a position of inserting the positioning component 7 into the positioning pin of the positioning jig. The step of fitting the mounting substrate 2 to the camera housing 1 of the image pickup device is a step of detaching the mounting substrate 2 from the positioning jig in a state in which the positioning component 7 is fixedly attached to the mounting substrate 2, and fitting the mounting substrate 2 to the camera housing 1. |
