<p>According to one embodiment, there is provided an elevator control apparatus (20) supplied with electric power from a battery (11) during a power outage, the battery (11) being charged with electric power supplied from a power supply during normal operation of an elevator and being charged with regenerative power generated by regenerative operation of the elevator during a power outage. During the power outage, a determiner (23a) determines whether or not a charging rate of the battery (11) is greater than or equal to a first upper limit value. An operation controller (23b) performs operation, making an operation speed of the elevator during the regenerative operation less than a rated speed, if it is determined that the charging rate of the battery (11) is greater than or equal to the first upper limit value.</p> |
