<p>The invention provides a method for manufacturing glass. The method can prolong life of a furnace which is provided with walls with electrodes. In the method for manufacturing glass, glass raw materials are imported into a melting furnace so that the glass is melted. The melting furnace is provided with walls built by at least a pair of electrodes 200 and more than two refractory bricks 111c. Composition of raw materials of an electrode 201a forming the electrodes 200 comprises stannic oxide. The method for manufacturing glass is characterized in that the electrodes are kept by using the refractory bricks 111c around in a manner that the electrode 201a can be moved, and the electrode 201a is kept in a preset position in a front end.</p> |
