PURPOSE: A knee bolster for a vehicle is provided to reduce the injury of a driver by guiding the breakdown of a steering column in a vehicle crash and preventing the knees of the driver from bumping into a key set directly. CONSTITUTION: A knee bolster(10) for a vehicle is composed of a first shock absorbing panel(11) disposed in a lower panel(2) and absorbing shock applied to the knees of a driver, and a second shock absorbing panel(12) installed at one side of the first shock absorbing panel and guiding the breakdown of a steering column(5). A shock absorbing member is installed at the rear of the first shock absorbing panel, and prevents the knees of the driver from bumping into a key set directly.
