Disclosed is a device for varying and converting the type of a sewing machine. The device includes: a substitute crank rod which substitutes a crank rod installed on an upper axis of the sewing machine and varies an ascent trajectory of a needle bar; and a substitute thread take-up lever forming a varied stroke trajectory linked with the ascent trajectory of the substitute crank rod. Therefore, the device varies or converts the type of the sewing machine by adjusting the ascent trajectory of the needle bar and trajectory of the stroke movement of the thread take-up lever. |
