According to the present invention, a method for manufacturing an environment-friendly mulching material utilizes trees damaged by disease and insects, such as trees damaged by Bursaphelenchus xylophilus, and trees infected by oak wilt which are not usually used as timber in Korea. Therefore, unused resources which are difficult to be utilized in Korea are preferentially used. The environment-friendly mulching material is manufactured by thermal processing under the condition that cellulose among timber components of a raw material is not pyrolyzed and hemicellulose is pyrolyzed by supplying a certain heat at temperatures of 150 to 240°C for 10 to 20 minutes. As a result, by being made of natural materials, the manufactured environment-friendly mulching material does not cause soil pollution, naturally decomposes, and prevents the evaporation of moisture in soil. |
