<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll paper supply device which can impart constant tension on a paid-out roll paper with a simple structure, and provide a recording device.SOLUTION: A roll paper supply device includes: a pay-out shaft 52 and a bearing part 58 which support and can pay out a roll paper P on a roll body PP having the roll paper P wound around a core PC; a fixed side brake part 65A and a movable side brake part 65B which are in contact with an outer circumference part end surface of the roll body PP and brake rotation of the roll body PP in conjunction with pay-out of the roll paper P; and a radial direction moving part 66 which moves the fixed side brake part 65A and the movable side brake part 65B in response to the roll body PP of which a diameter is reduced with the pay-out of the roll paper P.</p> |
