PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of eliminating or reducing the need of cleaning with water before use of an anion exchange resin.SOLUTION: A method of suppressing formation of nitrosoamine on an anion exchange resin comprises preparing an anion exchange resin including a nitrosation agent and mixing the anion exchange resin with a cation exchange resin and includes adding the cation exchange resin to the anon exchange resin in a weight ratio of the anon exchange resin to the cation exchange resin of 100:1 or higher. The anion exchange resin contains a phenol-formaldehyde cross-linked polycondensate and at least one of methylamine, trimethylamine, tripropylamine, etc., and the cation exchange resin contains one or more polymers selected from sulfonated polymers of styrene, ethylstyrene and/or divinylbenzene, sulfonated divinylbenzene/styrene copolymer, acrylic copolymers, divinylbenzene cross-linked polyacrylate polymers, etc. |
