PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid pressure shock absorber capable of constituting a damping force generating mechanism compact.SOLUTION: A passage member 40 adopted for a fluid pressure shock absorber of this invention includes a first flow passage 43 for communicating an annular passage 21 with a damping force generating mechanism 30, and a second flow passage 48 for communicating a reservoir 4 with the damping force generating mechanism 30, and further includes a cylindrical part 41 fitted to a cylindrical connection port 23 of a separator tube 20 and having a first flow passage 43 in an inside thereof, and a flange part 42 provided on an end of the cylindrical part 41. Furthermore, an abutment surface 47 of the flange part 42 of the passage member 40 is abutted to the damping force generating mechanism 30, and a space between a plurality of leg parts 46 formed on an outer peripheral side of the flange part 42 and abutted to an outer peripheral surface of an outer cylinder 3 is constituted as a second flow passage 48, and therefore, the damping force generating mechanism 30 can be constituted compact in an axial direction. |
