摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which enables criticality safety management without using shape management and without identifying the spatial distribution of neutron sources.SOLUTION: A criticality safety management method comprises: a limit value setting step S10 for setting a count rate ratio limit value R; an initial-time storage step S20 for measuring a neutron count rate in a first measuring vessel to calculate an initial-time neutron source intensity, and then measuring the neutron count rate in a storage container; an initial-time standardization count rate calculation step S30; an additional storage step S40 for performing measurement in a second measuring vessel to calculate an additional neutron source intensity, and then performing measurement in the storage container; a post-addition standardization count rate calculation step S50; a standardization count rate ratio calculation step S60 for calculating a standardization count rate ratio R; and a determination step S70 for determining whether or not the standardization count rate ratio Ris greater than the count rate ratio limit value R. In the limit value setting step S10, the count rate ratio limit value Ris set for handling a nuclear fuel material with an assumable maximum reactivity.</p>
