METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SCHEDULING RELATIVE ERROR BY USING INDIVIDUAL RATE AND PROPORTIONAL RATE SCALING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the method to apply scheduling to a plurality of data streams by conducting scheduling in a way that two stream rates are smaller than a band width available of a common use resource and a relative error between both actual and ideal scheduling times is minimized. SOLUTION: The scheduler is made up of two parts, an RE scheduler keeping variables D(k,j) and W(j) for each group and many round-robin schedulers each operating with groups of streams corresponding to a single individual rate. At first a scheduler is provided to the common use resource and is initialized to receive a plurality of data and the scheduler receives 1st and 2nd data streams to have 1st and 2nd stream rates. The two stream are scheduled so that the two stream rates are smaller than the band width available in the common use resource and a relative error between both actual and ideal scheduling times is minimized.
