<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermetic type compressor with enhanced efficiency by improving heat insulation of a suction muffler.SOLUTION: In a sealed container 101, an electric motor 102, a compression element 103 driven by the electric motor, a suction muffler 119 communicating with a cylinder 110 of the compression element 103 are provided. The suction muffler 119 is configured by being formed with PBT (polybutyl terephthalate) resin in which at least hollow beads 122 are added as an additive. Thereby, the suction muffler 119 can lower the thermal conductivity by the low thermal conductivity of the hollow beads 122 without increasing the size of the suction muffler 119 itself, the temperature of a cooling medium sucked into the cylinder 110 via the suction muffler 119 can be maintained low, and a high efficiency hermetic type compressor can be provided.</p> |
