PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable switching operation to a neutral range reliably, in a shifter.SOLUTION: When it is determined that an operation knob 11 is subjected to operation of two or more stages to emergency neutral positions N'1, N'2 within reference time during vehicle travel, a controller switches a transmission into a neutral range. Consequently, even in an emergency situation, switching operation to the neutral range is easily performed. |
