<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a ring component easily lockable when closed without requirement of additional springs. <P>SOLUTION: A ring mechanism includes a housing 11 and the ring component, and the ring component is movable to the housing between an open position and a blocked position. An actuation system moves the ring component and is equipped with a hinge plate 27 pivotally attached onto the housing and a lever 15 causing at least unidirectional pivotal movement of the hinge plate. This lever is connected to a travel lever 45 moving in a longitudinal direction of the housing, and the travel lever moves between a position for blocking pivotal movement of the hinge plate and a position for allowing the pivotal movement of the hinge plate. When the lever moves, at least one of the lever and the hinge plate is deformed to delay the pivotal movement of the hinge plate, consequently the lever moves the travel bar, and consequently the movement of the hinge plate is not blocked. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
