PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery which improves safety.SOLUTION: The secondary battery comprises: a case; a cap plate mounted to the case; a terminal hole formed on the cap plate; a terminal passing through the terminal hole; and a sealing member partially enclosing the terminal within the terminal hole. The terminal includes: a center connection part; an upper connection part which extends from the center connection part to the outside of the case and partially overlaps with the cap plate outside of the case; and a power collecting connection part extending from the center connection part in a first direction within the case. The sealing member includes: an upper sealing part mounted on the cap plate; and a lower sealing part disposed within the terminal hole and fixed in tight contact with the periphery. The upper sealing part is positioned between the cap plate and the upper connection part and supports the upper connection part in such a manner that the upper connection part is separated from the cap plate, and the lower sealing part is positioned between the power collecting connection part and the entire terminal hole. |
