<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silencer for an ocarina for enabling a user to learn without causing any trouble to his or her surroundings at night or the like.SOLUTION: A silencer for an ocarina is comprised of a holding body 2 and a silencing member so as to be mounted on the mouthpiece of an ocarina in a freely attachable and detachable manner. The silencing member is made of at least one of nonwoven cloth, felt, towel texture and cotton cloth. The holding body is an elastic body with an almost ellipse corn trapezoidal form.
