The present invention relates to a membrane for separating flue gas comprising crosslinked thermally rearranged poly(benzoxazole-co-imide) by transesterification bridging reaction and follow thermal rearrangement of an ortho-hydroxy polyimide copolymer and a diol-based compound, and to a preparation method thereof. The membrane for separating flue gas comprising crosslinked thermally rearranged poly(benzoxazole-co-imide) prepared by the present invention has excellent gas permeability and selectivity, and shows gas separation performance exceeding 2008 upper bound related to carbon dioxide/methane separation.
