<p>A collapsible guard 201 for fitting to an animal, such as a dog, includes a strap 202 (such as a collar) for attaching or securing to or around the animal with a first support member 203A attached thereto, a second support member 203B and a flexible material (205, Fig 8) positioned between and attached to the two support members..The two support members are extendable away from each other between an open position and closed position; wherein in the closed position the flexible material is extended to define a closed space over the head of the animal. The flexible material can comprise a plurality of sheets or panels 206B-206F and/or a mesh-like material. A fastener 207 (such as a press-stud or snap fit fastener) can be provided to secure the guard in the said closed position.</p> |
