This enclosing and sealing system is built on a network. The system is provided with: a first image forming device that receives original PDL data transmitted from a terminal over the network, and that prints out content on the basis of the original PDL data; a second image forming device that, on the basis of the original PDL data received over the network, prints out a mailing envelope; and an enclosing and sealing device that, on the basis of the original PDL data received over the network, encloses the printed content in the printed mailing envelope, and seals the mailing envelope in which the content has been enclosed. The enclosing and sealing device is provided with a first transport path connected to the first image forming device, for transporting the printed content, and a second transport path connected to the second image forming device, for transporting the printed mailing envelope. The system is capable of connecting to various imaging devices, making it highly versatile, and achieves high productivity as well. |
