PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact, lightweight and high-quality heat storage device which prevents corrosion of a heat exchanger, and to provide a comfortable and energy-saving air conditioner using the same. SOLUTION: A heat storage device 20A includes a heat storage solution layer 11 consisting of a heat storage solution comprising water, a heat storage heat exchanger 22 which is submerged in the heat storage solution layer 11, and an evaporation prevention layer 13 which is arranged at the upper part of the heat storage solution layer 11. The evaporation prevention layer 13 comprises at least one kind of solvent composition of water-insoluble solvent. The pour point of the solvent composition is less than a normal temperature. The water insoluble solvent contains at least any of hydrocarbons whose carbon number is 24-44. In the evaporation prevention layer 13 having such a physical property, only a slight amount of organic acid is generated. The oxygen in the air is not likely to enter the heat storage solution layer 11, thereby reducing corrosion of the heat storage heat exchanger 22. COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
