A center apparatus with rotating speed display. An arbor (20) is disposed in the interior of a quill handle (10) by means of front and rear bearings (111, 112). A front end of the arbor (20) penetrates out of the quill handle (10) and forms a center head (21). An induction block (23) is disposed at the periphery of the arbor (20). An inductor (31) for detecting the induction block (23) is disposed at the periphery of the quill handle (10) in a penetrating manner, so as to transmit a signal detected on the induction block (23) to an outer tachometer (33) for display. When in use, the quill handle (10) is mounted on a tailstock (40) of a lathe and the center head (21) abuts against a quill hole at a tail end of a workpiece (41). When the workpiece rotates together with a mainshaft of the lathe and drives the arbor to simultaneously rotate, a rotation speed of the arbor can be detected by using the inductor and is displayed on the tachometer, so that a user can make the tailstock drive the arbor to abut against the workpiece by using a most appropriate pressure in a manner that the rotation speeds of the arbor and the lathe are adjusted to make the rotation speeds consistent, thereby achieving the effect of proper firm abutment. |
