PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED unit and lighting equipment, which are shortened for a time period required for the assembly.SOLUTION: A light-emitting device 4 comprises a mounting substrate 40 having one side, on which an LED belonging to light-emitting parts 41 and 42 is mounted. On a base 2, the light-emitting device 4 is arranged such that the mounting face of the LED is faced on the opposite side. A lens 7 passes an irradiation light from the light-emitting device 4, and controls the light distribution of the irradiation light. A lens cover 8 is arranged on the opposite side of the base 2 through the lens 7 at such a position as to make no obstruction against the light to be irradiated from the lens 7 to the outside, and holds the lens 7 between itself and the base 2. This base 2 is formed with a through hole 26 extending through the base 2 in the thickness direction. The lens cover 8 is equipped with a protrusion piece 84 protruding to the side of the base 2 and inserted into the through hole 26 of the base 2. The protrusion piece 84 is equipped at its leading end with a pawl 84a, which retains at the peripheral edge of the through hole 26 while being inserted into the through hole 26. |
