<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a punching die in which biting of a punched piece to an inner wall of a side pressure providing part in a through-hole of a die can be well kept in a punching processing repeated for a long time, and to provide a method for grinding the same. <P>SOLUTION: The punching die includes the die formed of a pair of halved parts having the through-hole prepared with the side pressure giving part and a tapered hole.
