<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for producing pickles enabling rapid production of healthy pickles having full flavor and making anyone feel tasty even when artificial additives and/or salt are/is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The device for producing pickles 1 includes a pickling container 2 housing a pickling material A, and a rotary device 3 making the pickling container 2 rotate. The rotary device 3 rotates the pickling container 2 so as to reduce osmotic pressure of the pickling material A. The device for producing pickles 1 may be provided with a far-infrared ray generator 20 or a negative ion generator 21.
