PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turning arm stand for digital microscopes including a turning arm capable of turning around a rotation axis and facilitating a turning operation including release and fixation of an arrangement of the turning arm.SOLUTION: The turning arm stand can prevent turning operation by a high-torque magnetic brake that is disposed around a rotation axis DA and consists of an integral turning part MS and a stationary part ML and, while a button is depressed, can stop the prevention by releasing the high-torque magnetic brake. The button is disposed on the turning arm such that the button can be easily depressed by at least a single finger of the same hand as the hand holding an area that is provided for holding the turning arm to adjust a turning angle and is ergonomically formed on the turning arm. |
