PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide techniques related to a terminal device, base station device, communication system, communication method, and an integrated circuit that achieve an efficient random access procedure in a plurality of cells.SOLUTION: In a communication system in which a terminal device is connected with a plurality of base station devices with the use of a plurality of cells, the terminal device detects random access setting information about a first cell and a second cell from the base station devices, and detects a response to a physical random access channel transmitted to the first cell and a response to a physical random access channel transmitted to the second cell in the same reception section or different reception sections.
