The present invention relates to a monkey wrench which includes a body; and a cut sliding groove formed at an upper end portion of the body, and fastens a bolt or nut mounted on a moving jaw and a fixed jaw moved back and forth in the sliding groove. The monkey wrench includes a gear-shaped moving gear formed at a lower side of the moving jaw; a circular rotary gear horizontally rotating the moving jaw by being interlocked with the moving gear mounted inside an insertion hole penetrated in a central portion of the body; a fixing cover covering an upper surface of the circular rotary gear inserted; a fixing recessed portion recessed in multi-steps arranged inside the body; and an adjusting lever connected to the circular rotary gear and protruded to be gripped by hand to enable the circular rotary gear to be horizontally rotated. The circular rotary gear interlocked with the moving gear of the moving jaw is mounted on the insertion hole perforated inside the monkey wrench to easily fasten a bolt or a nut. The fixing cover recessed in multi-steps is disposed at an inner circumference to fasten and release the bolt or nut interlocked between the fixed jaw and the moving jaw at once. The adjusting lever gripped by hand is disposed to enable the circular rotary gear to horizontally be rotated to easily fasten the bolt or nut, to perfectly fix the adjusting lever to the fixing cover to prevent the circular rotary gear from being unwound, and to prevent deviation of the bolt or nut to promote safety. |
