<p>The present invention relates to a chuck for a lathe and, more specifically, to a chuck for a lathe capable of allowing workpieces with different outer diameters to easily be fixed and inserted by widening or narrowing the diameter of an insertion hole formed on a jaw part through the elevation of an elevation member to easily insert the workpieces which have different outer diameters since other accessories are coupled to or formed on the outer surface of the workpieces to be machined. According to the present invention, the chuck for a lathe comprises: a body member; the elevation member arranged inside the body member to be elevated; a jaw member arranged inside the elevation member having the lower part coupled to the body member to be rotated, and capable of adjusting the diameter of the insertion hole arranged in the upper part to insert the workpieces by the elevation of the elevation member; and an elastic body surrounding the outer surface of the lower part of the jaw member elastically restored by the elevation of the elevation member to rotate the jaw member.</p> |
