An igniter tube assembly (100) includes an igniter (110), an igniter tower (138) with a radially extending portion (148), a ferrule (140) with a radially extending portion (176), and a retainer (142) with a radially extending portion (192). The ferrule (140) and retainer (142) capture the radially extending portion of the igniter tower (138) and sealing surface provides an area for the ferrule (140) to interface with the igniter tower (138). The igniter (110) moves relative to the casing (114) in which it is secured while a fluid seal between the igniter (110) and ferrule (140) controls air flow. |
