<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pull-behind floor finish applicator where a mop with a handle is connected to but is readily removable from the applicator.SOLUTION: The invention allows the mop to be used as a component of a walk-behind applicator 10 for applying a floor finishing agent to easily accessible areas, yet allows the mop to be used independently for application of a floor finish agent to not so easily accessible areas. The applicator is adaptable to receiving a bag-in-the-box floor finish agent, thus reducing cleaning time. The applicator employs a minimum number of disposable parts thus making it economical to produce. Some embodiments utilize a pump driven by power of wheels 18. A transmission assembly is provided in some embodiments to deliver power from the wheels to the pump.</p> |
