The present invention is a polarizing plate obtained by bonding, in the following order: a layered film in which an acrylic resin layer containing rubber elastomer particles is layered on one or both surfaces of a polycarbonate resin layer; a polarizing film comprising a polyvinyl alcohol resin film in which a dichroism pigment is oriented for adsorption; and a protective film comprising a transparent resin, the layered film having a total film thickness, including the polycarbonate resin layer and the acrylic resin layer layered on one or both surfaces thereof, of 10-100 µm, and a compression ratio in the film roll length direction of no more than 1.0% when heated at 100°C for 10 minutes, and the polycarbonate resin layer accounting for 2-60% of the film thickness in relation to the total film thickness of the layered film. This polarizing plate secures production stability and has excellent heat resistance.
