PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery cover opening/closing device which attains improvement of assembly workability and reduction of cost by simplifying the structure and, in particular, improves operability if mounted in a portable printer.SOLUTION: A slide lock piece 25 is provided which can be switched between a closing position and an opening position of a battery cover 9, and while paying attention to operating the slide lock piece 25 within a lock piece fitting part 27 of a cover body 26, the lock piece fitting part 27 and the slide lock piece 25 are provided. The slide lock piece 25 includes an engaging/disengaging protrusion 30 which is engaged with/disengaged from an engage/disengage hole 34 of an apparatus housing 2, an opening/closing switching protrusion 31, a stopper protrusion 32 and an opening/closing part 33 which is operated to a cover opening position and a cover closing position. In the cover body 26, there are formed a closing stopper surface 37 to/from which the stopper protrusion 32 is engaged/disengaged, and an opening stopper part 38 to/from which the opening/closing switching protrusion 31 is engaged/disengaged. |
